At MerusCase, our dedicated migration team has the ability to move your existing data from your previous case management system, into the MerusCase system.

Here is a brief overview of the migration process at MerusCase:
Step 1: Introduction to the Migration Process and Understanding your Firm's Needs
Your firm will be assigned a dedicated migration coordinator for all your migration needs. This staff member will be working one-on-one with your firm throughout the entire migration process to answer any questions you have, and keep the migration timeline on track. The migration coordinator will schedule a call with your firm to explain the migration process more in-depth, and see how your firm is currently utilizing your previous case management system.
Step 2: Obtaining a Copy of your Firm's Data
Our migration team will schedule a time with your firm to obtain your existing data. Alternatively, depending on the type of system you are migrating from, we may request that your firm's IT department provide a copy of your firm's data. Once your firm's data is in our server, our dedicated engineering team will begin organizing and mapping the data.
Step 3: Data Review
Your data will be funneled into a placeholder MerusCase account. This is not a "real" account, but it is a location where your staff can view the data, as it will appear in MerusCase, once you go live. This process is called the data review process. During this process our migration team will work with your firm to ensure that your data looks correct, before your firm is live.
Step 4: Training & Go Live!
The final step in the onboarding process is for each member of the firm to go through a training session with a MerusCase expert. Training is not required, but it is highly recommended. We want your firm to be well equipped to hit the ground running when you first start using your new system. Your firm will be assigned a dedicated training expert from our customer success team. The trainings will also be recorded, so your firm's staff can refer back to these training videos at any time.
