This article covers new product enhancements included in our April 3, 2024 release of Version 7.18.
Email Subject Defaults
You can now apply the same email subject defaults for including case name and claim number information when sending invoices via email, in addition to when you are composing case messages. With these additional preferences, you can more easily provide case related information when sending invoices from MerusCase.
Case Files
Billing Parties
The case files Parties tab now prevents the accidental removal of any party set as the “Bill All Time Charges to“ or “Set Invoices ‘Attn’ of“ contact for a given case file. This helps ensure that all time charges logged for a given case are automatically formatted correctly with a proper billing party when entered.
Other Updates
Email Setup - Improved Outlook account tracking to prevent accidentally signing into a different account when reauthorizing.
Contacts - Reduced unnecessary flagging of emails linked to contacts as invalid.
Browse Cases - Limited the “Combine/Merge Cases” option to merging 2 cases at a time.
Parties - Addressed a UI issue causing parties to not display properly when set to an invalid people type value.
