You can access your firm calendar and synchronize events from your MerusCase calendar to Outlook. Your calendar synchronization preferences can be set to specify which event types you would like to synchronize. Only events with the specified event types that are assigned to your MerusCase user account from the current date up to one year in the future will be synchronized by this integration.
To enable the Outlook calendar integration, navigate to Tools & Settings > 3rd Party Apps and search for “calendar” or scroll down the list to find the "Microsoft Outlook Calendar Sync" option. Once you have opened the integration page in the right panel, click the “Login to your Outlook Account” button.
You will be asked to confirm that you want to proceed with the authorization process. Click the “Yes, Grant Access” button to be redirected to the Microsoft website to continue the process.
Once you have been redirected, enter the username and password for the Outlook account to which you would like to synchronize your MerusCase calendar events. This process is similar to synchronizing your Outlook email in MerusCase.
When you have entered your Outlook login credentials, you will be required to grant access to the MerusCase calendar integration.
Click “Accept” to grant access and be redirected back to MerusCase to complete the setup process. Once you are back in MerusCase, you should receive a success notification at the top of your screen. You should now be able to select which event types you would like to synchronize to Outlook. Select the checkbox next to each event type you would like to synchronize and click the “Save” button to continue.
Once the setup process is complete, you should see a success confirmation message on your screen. From here, you can directly navigate to your MerusCase calendar or close the message to view the Outlook calendar sync integration page again.
If the setup process was successful, the integration page should now display a message stating that your account is synchronized. From this page, you can reauthorize your account or edit your event type preferences again.
Note: You will need to set the MerusCase calendar to be visible in Outlook. To do this, navigate to your Outlook calendar and select the checkbox next to the MerusCase option. You may need to click the “Show All” button to see this option. Once the MerusCase calendar is set to be visible, synchronized events will appear in the calendar view in Outlook.
