Microsoft Office 365 Email Synchronization
This latest release of MerusCase addresses synchronization issues between users' Microsoft Office 365 email accounts and MerusCase. We’ve updated the way we synchronize with Microsoft Outlook to better serve you. Please note that every user who has synchronized their Outlook account will be required to complete a reauthorize action to set up this new synchronization method. This simple step can be found in three convenient locations throughout MerusCase - 1) on the Dashboard, 2) in your messages inbox and 3) in the email setup section under Tools & Settings. For more information and detailed instructions please read here on how to re-authorize.
✨Significant Activities
This release of MerusCase introduces a new activity categorization to denote an activity type that you are interested in reporting on - a ‘significant’ activity.
Firm Preferences - A new Systemwide setting has been added, Significant Activity, so you may identify one or more activity types that you wish to report on.
Case Details - Once the Systemwide setting is in use and you have defined Significant activity types, the Date of the Last Significant Activity will be displayed amongst the other key dates for a Case. This is a read only field populated by the system based upon activities entered into MerusCase.
Stale Cases Report - The Stale Cases report has also been enhanced to include the Date of Last Significant Activity in the report output so this information is readily available for greater visibility into case progress and improved decision making.
✨Date of Last Billable Time Entry
The date of the last billable time entry for a case has now been added to both the Case Details page and the Stale Cases report. An indication of the last billable activity that was performed on a case provides, at a glance, visibility on the Case status. This read-only field in the Case Details page view is displayed amongst the other key dates for a Case and is a new report output column when running the Stale Cases report.
✨Case Files - Audit History
With this release of MerusCase we are now tracking and displaying audit history on changes made within Case Details. A new View History button at the bottom of the Case Details view can be toggled to show the changes that have been made to the Case in the following areas:

Other Updates
Calendar - Addressed an issue to ensure the Assignee Agenda warns you of any assignees on a new event that have event conflicts during your new event’s time frame. Similar behavior was adjusted when editing an existing event to ensure conflicting events are accurately appearing on the Assignee Agenda.
Events - Addressed a small display issue when a company contact is associated to an event.
